I was really surprised to read recently in the nzherald.co.nz that many businesses, small and medium in Auckland and other main regions in NZ like Wellington and Christchurch still don’t have websites. Of course as a business who provides website development and Internet marketing you would expect me to say that but I just thought everyone who wants anything these days just jumps online?
“… only 38 percent of businesses in New Zealand’s biggest city operate their own website … “ while 38% of Auckland firms had a website, 65% of Aucklanders shopped online”

I rest my case! I am not trying to be smart here but it is plain as the nose on your face that local business need a web presence and need to use local business Internet marketing experts to get results. And please don’t hang me all those people who are doing extremely well without a website – you have obviously worked hard at building a successful business, but in this generation I firmly believe that businesses need a presence on the web and local business Internet marketing strategies.
There are many skilled local professionals who work with local businesses and global businesses who appreciate how powerful website traffic is to sales and revenue. Working locally but connecting globally with other Internet Marketing experts is a great way to find out what will work here in our business market in NZ.
Think about all the ways you could be increasing your revenue by attracting the local market and the benefits will quickly appear.
